Women's Activities
Women's Annual Luncheon
Once a year, usually in July, the women of our church gather for a time of connection and fellowship. We try to schedule it when most of our “second homeowners” are in town, because they are a special part of our congregation. The lunch is an abundant potluck and usually includes a raucous white elephant gift exchange!
The Women's Book Group
The Women’s Book Group is a unique gathering of diverse women who love to read books and share their thoughts on world religions, women’s issues, life, spirituality and family. Participants vary from 1 to 20 years of involvement in this group. Share your ideas and grow with all of us to a better understanding of our personal faith and belief systems.
You won’t be sorry you joined the laughter, fun and sometimes, tears in our high-trust sisterhood!
Men's and Women's Retreats
Structured time for reflection, grounding, spiritual renewal and fellowship.
Each year we take an overnight men’s overnight retreat and campout to places such as Blue Mesa Reservoir, Gunnison Gorge, Flaming Gorge and Lake Powell. The annual women’s retreat often goes to nearby Wuanita Hot Springs.
Bible Study
Rev. Tim Clark leads a Brown Bag Bible Study on Tuesdays at noon in his office. We study one book of the Bible at a time, reading passages together and discussing our own opinions about how to interpret and apply it to our lives.

Fellowship Meals
Come join Fellowship Meals as a way to get better acquainted and be a part of the UCC community.
Few acts are more expressive of companionship than a shared meal.
Anyone is encouraged and welcome to join:
Members, non-members, visitors, part time residents, couples, singles, etc. New groups will be identified for each three month time frame.
Sign-up List
Use the sign-up list by the deadline if interested in joining or call Mary in the church office. People will be grouped together into meal groups and you will be contacted with names and contact information for the people in your group. Contact Shirley Babler with questions – 970-222-8370.
Fellowship Meal Groups
Meal groups are 5-6 people who meet together for a meal once a month for three months. A lead person is identified for the group who will contact everyone to set dates, times, and location. Each meal will have a different host.
